Who We Are
Savent Solar manages over 1000 domestic and commercial solar PV systems, predominately across the South East of the United Kingdom in West Sussex and East Sussex, but also into Hampshire, Surrey and Kent. We create, deliver and manage all aspects of solar PV, renewable energy, energy efficiency and storage.
If only 15% of homes had solar, the UK could run off completely green energy. We believe in the importance of a sustainable energy powered Great Britain, and are doing our part to achieve that.
Not only are we trying to do our part to make Britain greener, we are commited to ensuring that our customers get the best solar system for their needs. We create bespoke solar systems for commercial and domestic customers. It is for this reason that we take extra care and diligence when installing solar to minimise the chance of any problems occurring, and to ensure the system can generate green power for as long as possible. We have hundreds of happy customers across Sussex and the South East who can attest to this.
Our Story
Founder Michael started South Downs Solar in 2014 and the company spent several years helping people acquire government grants to have solar installed and sell money back to the grid. Michael and his business partner wound down South Downs solar in pursuit of other ventures in 2018. During this time they installed numerous solar systems across East and West Sussex, Surrey, and Kent and still work to maintain many of these systems today. Michael also founded the Brighton based Eco Technology Show summit and conference, to further cement his ties with the renewables industry.
In 2022 Michael then started Savent Solar to continue his work of increasing the adoption of solar in Sussex, and brought on some of the previous team from South Downs Solar including Pete and Sarah-Jane. The team at Savent Solar have now installed and help maintain over 1000 solar systems across Sussex, and this number increases year on year.
